TOP-2500 Infusion Pump
The TOP-2500 is a volume pump, used to administer medical fluids in a controlled and preset manner, for a broad variety of infusion therapies. It was developed as a New Standard: a very light and compact machine, with a clear focus on simplicity and safety. Preparation and use are very straightforward, following a well indicated series of successive top-to-bottom steps.
There are two modes of operation: a general mode, with use of any compatible infusion set, and the ‘H-Series’ mode, a more accurate and controlled proces with TOP’s designated infusion set.
The infusion set is guided along a slot with peristaltic fingers, through upstream and downstream occlusion sensors and an air detector sensor, safely secured behind the front door. A tube clamp prevents free flow of infusion fluid when the door is open. Bright key lights and a door light help to operate the TOP-2500 in the dark.
Safety
Events are indicated through sounds and multi-coloured lights. The internal battery ensures continued operation during power outages or transport, and may last for up until 4 hours when full.
