TOP-S500 Syringe Pump
The TOP-S500 Syringe Pump is TOP Corporation’s latest release in a well-reputed range of infusion pumps. They call it “The New Standard”. Very light and compact, developed with a clear focus on simplicity, and with a long list of special features for usability and safety. Operating the device is smooth and easy in a consecutive series of left-to-right steps.
Use: Continuous and Bolus
The human-rated syringe pump, used in medical institutions, is intended for continuous infusion with small volumes of medical liquids, often anesthetics. It is also well suited for blood transfusions and to administer nutritional supplements, chemotherapeutic agents, anticancer agents, labor-inducing drugs and anticoagulants. Depending on the initial settings, an additional bolus may be administered during infusion, either manually or in a fixed volume.
Safety
In case of an event, you will be notified by an alarm, both audible and visible. Red lights clearly indicate the location of the cause, to help a swift modification. The internal batteries, which may perform up until 10 hours, ensure continued operation during power outages or during possible transports.
